Refund Policy - ZIP Password Recovery
Read how payment, failed recovery, incorrect results, cancellations, and payment-provider disputes are handled for archive recovery.
Read the checkout terms first
The price, currency, payment method, and any provider-specific conditions are shown on the status page before you confirm a recovery release. Those terms control the transaction for that job; do not rely on a price copied from another archive or an old screenshot.
Analysis is free. A paid recovery release is optional and should be clearly separated from the free diagnostic stage. If a payment page fails before confirmation, do not retry repeatedly; save the error and contact support.
If a delivered password does not work
- Keep the original archive and the delivered result unchanged.
- Test the password with a current, compatible utility and record the exact error.
- Contact ArchivePassword support with the job token and payment reference before opening a payment dispute.
Support will review whether the result was verified against the requested archive and explain the available remedy under the terms shown at checkout and any applicable processor rules.
Cancellations and no-result cases
Cancel or pause a case through the status page when that option is available. A no-result outcome is possible for strong or random passwords; it is not evidence that an unverified password should be accepted. Any refund or cancellation outcome depends on whether a payment was captured and on the job's checkout terms.
Payment-provider disputes
Card and cryptocurrency payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not ask for card numbers, private keys, or wallet seed phrases by email. If a provider shows a pending or failed transaction, include only its transaction reference when contacting support.
