Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
These terms explain what the browser analyzer does, what happens when you choose a recovery submission, and the ownership boundary for archive password recovery.
1. Browser analysis
The free analyzer reads supported archive metadata in your browser. Choosing a file for local analysis does not by itself submit the archive to the recovery backend. Browser storage, extensions, analytics, or network tools outside this site may have their own behavior.
2. Optional recovery submission
If you choose to start a recovery job, the file and the information needed to operate that job are sent to the recovery service. Review the status page and service terms before continuing. Do not submit an archive you do not own or are not authorized to access.
Temporary files and job information may be processed by the recovery service to provide status updates, verify a result, prevent abuse, and handle support requests. For deletion or privacy questions, contact the ArchivePassword privacy team.
3. Payments and third parties
Payment details are entered with the payment provider shown at checkout. This site does not ask you to email card numbers, wallet seed phrases, private keys, or unrelated account passwords. Provider privacy, settlement, and refund terms may also apply to a transaction.
See the refund policy for the process if a delivered result does not unlock the requested archive.
4. Acceptable use
Use this site only for archives you own or have explicit permission to recover. Do not use it to access another person's files, bypass an organization's controls without authorization, or test recovered passwords against accounts and systems.
5. No guarantee
Archive password recovery is not guaranteed. A strong random password may be computationally impractical, and a damaged or incomplete archive may require data recovery rather than password recovery. Technical guides are educational and do not replace a format owner's documentation or legal advice.
